Sultan Palas Hotel Dalyan Turkey
The Location

Imagine a peaceful meandering river, flowing sedately past a backdrop of pine-clad slopes, littered with the tombs and dwelling places of people who lived in the time before Alexander the Great. Think of tall reed beds where multitudes of birds and wildlife hide from prying eyes and every bend in the river reveals a new vista. |

Then think of a long golden beach of soft yielding sand and you will have found the ‘Dalyan Delta’ in South West Turkey. Designated as a nature reserve by the Turkish Government, this setting with more than 150 species of birds, and many rare plants is one of the last refuges for the endangered Loggerhead Turtle (Caretta Caretta), and the secluded haven chosen by a group of English friends to build a Hotel in Dalyan. |
|
Special care was taken to ensure that the Hotel would blend with its privileged location and beautiful surroundings by using local stone and pine whilst protecting and preserving the natural environment and the flora and fauna of the valley.
